WTF IS ART?!

Cos Soifon is damn badass now. :D

/
I just faffed up my entire essay on Art. I have officially mastered the ART of saying nothing while saying something and I don't like it. Honestly, by the looks of what everyone (WHO HAS HANDED IN) wrote, the question has been interpreted in a gazillion ways.

Anyway, I've found my GP God. :DDD

It was a dark and stormy night.

Edward Bulwer-Lytton, creator of the infamous opening line, 'it was a dark and stormy night,' I SALUTE YOU!

/
Baikohken bowls are huge. Really. There is just something about the way Japanese phrases are shouted that distinguishes authentic Jap places from franchises like Ichiban. The food is worth it and I think I'm going back to try their Char Siew Ramen. Funny thing about the place is that there are more Japanese than Singaporeans. LOL!

Ever since school moved So. Terribly. Near. to home, I've barely stepped out of Jurong during weekdays. Have yet to go to Mandarin Gallery even if I cannot afford anything there. Yet.

/
I want to see the outcome of the mini Copenhagen Forum.

IDK what countries are selected but I think India/China will immediately agree to cut up to 50% of their carbon footprint, countries in the Middle East will agree to renewable energy, the US will sign the Kyoto treaty and everyone will live happily ever after. Oh and Venezuela will agree to renewable energy too and perhaps this could pave way for further cooperation with the US! Singapore will, well, IDK what CH can think of. But not to worry, all is well. (:

My guide to navigating a political cesspool is coming in TWO weeks. *patience*

/
I calculated. It would take me at least seven YEARS. GAH! Stop focusing on the numbers dammit.

Note to self: Find Carninal Richelieu (Historical Sense)

Right, back to 'Art represents the best of human endeavours.' This wins worst GP topic hands down.

Taiyaki!

I heard X was given an ultimatum. Ah well, everyone will know the results on Thursday. I wonder if you still believed in what you said then.

/
Aikido on Fridays. (I need a photographic memory for Aikido.)
Baikohken tomorrow.
Equinox (Hell yeah!) next week.
CIP plans are more or less settled.

Life's great. :D

Well, save for that stupid ulcer that seems to be increasing in size even with Saline Gargling. T.T *wails*

Salt. Water. Gargle. Pain. Repeat.
Salt. Water. Gargle. Pain. Repeat.

Salt. Water. Gargle. Pain. Repeat.

/
I wanna watch The Tournement even though I think it would end up like the trashy D.O.A film. IDK. Who wanna go? M18 btw.

/
What do you do when you're in a place where mind tricks don't work?

Flowers in the Attic

IDK if it was PMS, MS or PMS but feelings these days leaves me contemplating my own mortality from many angles.

/
V doesn't believe that HL, C, N, A and I are all going to turn up for Chingay. HAHAHA! X) YJ's freaking tall! I can only see his neck at eye level. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN!?

/
If I wanted to kill you during a dinner, I graciously treat you to tofu and give you only chopsticks. No spoon. (:

/
It Bloomed! It Bloomed! It Bloomed! It Bloomed! SQUEE! X)))

I could use this for Ikebana, but considering that there is an odd number of flowers rule, counting the flowers would be hell. Besides, Courts doesn't have my type of suibans. Got to take a trip down to Ikea...

/
I will not buy books on architecture. Especially the really pretty Page One minimalist design books. *determination*

/
Ulcer is freaking killing me! YOUR HCl IS NOT WORKING!

Tu Tu Kueh Eraser

I love this Hitsugaya icon. It portrays happiness. :D

Today's HACAS was to the National Museum of Singapore of the Exhibition on Egyptian Mummies. I love the Minimalistic design of the museum's back entrance! Anyway, found out that Egyptians used Natron during the mummification process and Natron = Hydrated Sodium Carbonate.

Na2CO3ยท10H2O

Just think when you accidentally drop a bucket of HCl. Oops. Oh besides, I don't get it why they JUST had to remove the brain through the nose. I mean the mouth is linked to the nose and it is a way bigger cavity. Perhaps the mouth could function was a larger aperture to remove the brain? GAH! Weird thoughts. Reminds me of the times were XM tried to make her toy sheep eat the ice cream key chain and I said: OMG. The ice cream is eating the sheep. =.= HAHAHAHA!

PICTURES!

Note the S$0.00 I love being a student.

Anubis. There were badges of Anubis and XM wanted to get one cos Anubis protected the dead. If Anubis protects the dead, then I guess it wouldn't be of much help while you're living ne?

Your organs go into these pots. :D

Sphinxes! We got our name in hieroglyphics and decoded a message that spelt out the classic Sphinx question: What belongs to you but is used the most by others? Haha! Easy.

I got a Tu Tu Kueh Eraser! THAT'S RIGHT. A FRIGGIN' TU TU KUEH ERASER. IDK why but it's brilliantly fascinating~ They also sell quality five stones in bottles like those used to fill hair gel with.

Next week is planning for the xiao MUN. (: Looking forward to it. We're ending CCA on Apri 14! D: I will set up the SOP of treasury by then!

My ulcer hurts like crap. )))): SH! Your salt water thing was like HCl. I bet the NaCl dissociated in water to give HCl!

/
Yes, sleeping at 10 + finishing all the tuts/assignments ahead of time + CCA + having breaks IS possible.

TIME MANAGEMENT.

Thank god the projects now are quite freestyle. Besides, with the upcoming A levels, I think running 10+ projects simultaneously would be suicide. It was fun though! :D

CIP! CIP! CIP! Rah Rah Rah! CIP! CIP! CIP!

I. I. I.

I nearly got up late today. This is utterly unacceptable. I hate getting up late. It makes one feel disoriented, confused and lost. IDK what's up with my affair with time. U + Ma says that I clock watch like a person with OCD on crack. Perhaps the fact that after I rushed out of the house and saw PX strolling to school at that late hour, I should get the hint that I could be a wee bit paranoid.

Chemistry tut qns are freaking loooooooong. They squished 4 full questions into ONE.

/
Don'ts of a Personal Statement from LSE:

Don't start every sentence with " I "

ROFLMAO! HAHAHA! WTF.

Yes, yes, I don't need excessive reminders on how near the A levels are and the fact that my IP certificate is useless. Thanks.

/
Cramps. Dying. X.X

Senbonzakura DRUNK! HAHAHAHA!

Lair's Poker

Maths Mini test was alright. They are going to have a mini test EVERY WEEK. QW was like: Your school test center ah!?

Gah. Tomorrow Chem prac is replaced by tutorial. ONE HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES tutorial! WTF. Run over to -nearby- GSK office and steal the reagents can!? Jk. Jk.

/
Don't be too proud to admit that superficiality sometimes works.

And whatever works, well, works.

/
I want Liar's Poker by Michael Lewis. Whoever that borrowed from the libraries, please return it soon. =.=

/
I love to see banter on the international arena.

David Milliband (aka British Foreign Secretary aka Hilliary Clinton's spoofy crush): *insert 'patronizing' remarks on Zimbabwe's sanctions*
Arthur Mutambara (aka Zimbabwe's deputy prime minister): "With friends like those, who needs enemies?"

@ World Economic Forum

Ouch. I wonder how power sharing would ever go down in Zimbabwe. Imagine Tsvangirai and Mugabe being best chumps or working together. Uh huh. Anyway, this pales in comparison to the humiliation of the poor Turkey ambassador in Israel. That was utterly terrible and IMHO, the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister was extremely brash and bodering on childish. Most notably in the way he adamantly stated that he did nothing wrong after publicly humiliating the Turk on national TV. Okay, so if Turkey's television popular SOAP OPERA portrayed Israeli soldiers as cruel. I think the TV thing was way too much. Oh well, plus the events since the Gaza offensive, things look ready to crash.

On a lighter note, IDK why Milliband is so high up on Hillary Clinton's list. LOL! I've watched his videos and IMHO, it falls short of HC's remarks. But it was still funny though. :D

MY BOOK IS COMING WITHIN 3 MORE WEEKS. X( The wait is A-G-O-N-I-Z-I-N-G.
